Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Direct Service Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will lead behavioral intervention programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your expertise will help support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions, fostering growth, independence, and improved quality of life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with clients in home-based settings, providing impactful behavioral health services that promote positive outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles for children and individuals with autism spectrum disorders.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on client progress to inform treatment modifications and ensure effective therapy delivery.
- Provide supervision and training to behavior technicians and caregivers to ensure fidelity of interventions across settings.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and support ongoing patient assessment.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral health records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments and participate in ongoing patient care activities to support comprehensive understanding of each client’s unique needs.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification as a BCBA from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required.
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially within home-based behavioral therapy settings.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral psychological assessments, functional assessment procedures, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders is highly desirable.
- Ability to collect data accurately, analyze behavioral trends, and adapt interventions accordingly.
