American Traveler is hiring a cross-trained Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs in Danbury, CT.
-
Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting in Danbury, CT
-
3x12 hour shifts with variable start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM
-
Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as required by department needs
-
High-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases
-
EP procedures include ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred)
-
Cardiac catheterization procedures include diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy) and mechanical circulatory support (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing)
-
Neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures include diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
-
Structural heart procedures include TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman (preferred)

Advanced cardiovascular imaging technologies include ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems (preferred)

Siemens imaging system experience preferred

Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab experience required

State of CT Radiographer license and/or RCIS certification through CCI required; license required if applicable

Current AHA BLS and ACLS required

Proficiency in scrubbing EP procedures including ablations, device implants, and leadless pacing systems

Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, atherectomy, and mechanical circulatory support devices
-
Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures
-
Expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices
-
Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the current specialty

Cross-training across EP, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs is strongly preferred

RCIS certification through CCI preferred for licensed radiologic technologists

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
