We are seeking dedicated and friendly Associates /Team Members to join Grocery Outlet of Daly City. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail. As Associates /Team Members, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions with precision.
- Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges while adhering to store policies.
- Clean and maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Assist in merchandising products.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding product inquiries and store promotions.
- Stocking, loading and unloading of products on shelves and/or pallets. Able to lift.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Basic understanding of retail math concepts for accurate transaction processing.
- Willingness to learn about products and promotions to assist customers better.
