Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and ensure they feel welcomed.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the Open Table system.
- Communicate wait times to guests and provide updates as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu items, specials, and reservations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Foster positive guest relations by providing exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on effective communication and guest engagement.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
