The Central Scheduling Representative is responsible for managing a high volume of inbound calls and coordinating patient appointments across Atlantic Medical Group practices. This role schedules patients accurately, transcribes physician orders, provides exceptional customer service, and educates patients on available resources while ensuring an efficient scheduling experience.

Answer a high volume of inbound calls and schedule patient appointments across multiple specialties and locations.

Accurately transcribe physician orders and schedule patients for the appropriate services and modalities.

Verify patient demographics and ensure scheduling information is complete and accurate.

Educate patients on appointment preparation, available patient assistance resources, and scheduling requirements.

Cross-train across multiple specialties and scheduling workflows to support departmental needs.

Communicate effectively with physician offices, providers, and clinical staff to resolve scheduling issues.

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and other scheduling systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced call center environment while meeting productivity and quality standards.

Previous call center experience or experience in a high-volume customer service environment.

Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Experience in a medical office or physician practice (Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics).

Epic EMR experience.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
