- Administer anesthesia for cardiac, thoracic, vascular, and related surgeries.
- Oversee patients undergoing procedures like coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacement, and other intricate cardiothoracic interventions.
- Conduct perioperative patient assessments and create personalized anesthesia plans.
- Use advanced monitoring techniques such as transesophageal echocardiography and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
- Work closely with surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence efforts.
- Provide consultation and assistance for non-cardiac thoracic procedures.
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
- Completion of accredited Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in cardiothoracic anesthesiology preferred.
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure and controlled substance prescribing authority.
