Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, assessing insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage options, and assisting customers throughout the policy application and claims process. Strong communication, sales, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to meet sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a valid insurance license (or be willing to obtain one), a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in sales, customer service, or the insurance industry is preferred. Duties
- Meet with clients to assess their insurance needs and financial goals.
- Recommend appropriate insurance policies and coverage options.
- Explain policy terms, benefits, exclusions, and costs to customers.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Assist clients with policy applications, renewals, and documents.
- Support customers throughout the claims process and answer policy-related questions.
- Achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related sales role preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience meeting or exceeding sales goals and performance targets.
- Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and industry regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Experience handling policy applications, renewals, and client documentation.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Active insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain required licensing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
