Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team to success! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all store operations, including sales performance, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard employees to build and maintain a high‑performing team.
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, merchandising standards, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to all department managers (Meat, Seafood, Produce, Grocery, Front End, Non‑Food, etc.).
- Ensure all departments consistently meet company standards for quality, freshness, cleanliness, and product presentation.
- Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor to monitor daily operations, support staff, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Review store performance metrics; analyze sales data and retail KPIs to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase customer traffic and enhance store visibility.
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of retail management experience (grocery or supermarket preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
- Proven ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and store operations.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent customer service and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Language Skills: Japanese language ability is a plus, but not required.
