Sales Manager
Our North American business is growing and we are seeking to hire a Technical Sales Engine to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. Ideal applicant will have experience working in the marine, powersports, industrial or commercial vehicle equipment markets. The role is a dynamic position covering several different sales and technical support responsibilities including managing existing OEMs and aftermarket distribution accounts, and the development of new markets and sales channels. The role will require to work closely with Veratron leadership and extended team at our Headquarter, Factory and R&D Center located in Switzerland.
- you are focused on selling the Veratron portfolio of catalog products and customer specific product development projects
- you work closely with direct accounts and with 3rd party Sales Reps to manage sales and customer development
- you collaborate with Veratron Leadership and Product Management to develop and execute sales plans
- you provide product technical support
- you drive the business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
- you participate and lead in the Request for Quote process for new customer project opportunities
- you provide support and input related to new product development providing appropriate field data
- you support annual sale planning and budget preparation process
- you support US attended trade shows
- you provide order processing back-up support
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed Technical related Diploma or Degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years sales experience or strong marine, powersports or industrial equipment components knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation experience and willingness
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise
- General understanding of Electronics used in marine, powersports & industrial equipment products
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Language speaking English natively; German and/or Spanish a bonus
- You are open-minded, emphathetic and are interested in different cultures
- If you have experience in the Marine, Powersports, Agriculture, Construction, Industrial equipment – that is a bonus
Company orientation and training you will be held at our Switzerland HQ, where you will travel and spend time learning our products and procedures, for a period of 1 to 4 weeks, based on your current know-how and knowledge. Thereafter: minimum once a year for 2 weeks for continuous training and team building. Additional Domestic travel within the US, up to 20% a year may be required.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
