We are looking to fill a position of General Labor/Shift Floater in out Plant 2 location. This includes but is not limited to; general labor, stacking, packaging, etc. Includes cleaning, preparing the production area, and using a variety of tools and machines. Must have a willingness to learn mechanics, and manufacturing.
General Labor/ Shift Floater Responsibilities:
- Follow company and OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor.
- Follow production guidelines and specifications.
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
- Operate tools in order to aid in the manufacturing process.
- Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.
- Using machine equipment to complete tasks.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor and repetitive work.
- Ability to follow oral instructions promptly and accurately.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Ability to learn safety precautions and recognize hazards.
- Report any unsafe work condition or practice to supervisor.
- Ability to perform other related and non-related duties as assigned.
- Good attendance record and work history.
- Ability to work scheduled shift and every other weekend (required)
