Kidfit Attendant
This position is responsible for providing support for KidFit programs and other youth programs organized by the KidFit Director. This position interacts with and supervises children from infants to pre-teen depending on the assigned duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure proper procedures are followed in program activities, both with regard to safety and program guidelines.

Lead special activities such as group games, arts and craft projects, birthday parties and other themed programs.

Interact with children (Reads to or plays games etc.)

Monitors group play activities

Complete small and large art projects
-
Clean toys, shelves, tables and chairs

Re-Stock arts and craft materials, general supplies, snack boxes etc.

Set up, lead and clean up monthly crafts, birthday parties and other special events

Check members in and out of Kidfit
-
Observe all State of Maryland and Montgomery County COVID Restrictions, if necessary

Be a team player and have the ability to collaborate in a professional manner with co-workers to meet the needs of campers

Ability to work in a diverse environment

Ability to accept supervision and guidance

Greet parents and children

Assist in the planning, supervising and leading of recreational camp activities and group activities

Exhibit good character, integrity, and adaptability

Display enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control

Ability to become CPR Certified

Ability to pass a state and federal background check

Perform other related duties as required
