Why This Role Exists
Heal Clinic is an established, fully-booked functional medicine and aesthetics practice expanding into a new six-room clinical space. We are hiring a second Nurse Practitioner to support existing patient demand in hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and functional medicine.
Duties
- Manage a functional medicine and hormone optimization caseload, including new patient consults and established patient follow-ups
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, and medical history reviews
- Provide specialized care such as hormone pellet insertions, manage ongoing hormone protocols
- Design and oversee peptide therapy protocols
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including emergency medicine, critical care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
- Administer medications and injections following HIPAA guidelines while ensuring sterile techniques and infection control protocols are maintained.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Engage in telehealth consultations and case management to extend care access beyond traditional settings.
- Document care thoroughly and timely
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current state certification
- Experience with hormone replacement therapy, including pellet insertion, peptide therapy protocols, functional and/or integrative medicine
- Comfort working independently in a cash-pay, non-insurance clinical model
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Pabau, OptiMantra, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with ICD-9/10
- Knowledge of pharmacology
- Ability to perform complex diagnostic evaluations
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology; ability to perform physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, health coaching sessions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Preferred
- Critical care experience including ICU or Level I Trauma Center preferred; hospital or emergency room experience highly valued.
- Hands-on skills in procedures such as catheterization, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and sterile processing techniques.
- Interest in or experience with aesthetic medicine (toxins, fillers, radiofrequency and laser treatments for skin and hair enhancement)
- Experience in a direct primary care (DPC) or membership-based practice setting

Services include hormone replacement therapy, endocrine support, hair restoration, peptide therapy, and aesthetic medicine. The practice is expanding into a new six-room space (two aesthetics rooms, two medical rooms, two consult rooms) to support continued growth.
Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
