Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in janitorial or custodial work, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing your cleaning skills further
- Hours: 5:30 PM start, approximately 3+ hours per shift (Varies Each Day)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday evenings (Some Weekend Evenings)
- Possibility of leading to additional days and hours.
- ***Must have availability for some Late night shifts starting at aprox 11pm (Days varies as needed)***
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces and sanitize restrooms regularly
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation is a plus for flexibility in scheduling or location access
- Ability to pass background checks and adhere to safety guidelines
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently
