Responsibilities
- Coordinate between kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure seamless food delivery and presentation.
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing to meet quality standards and aesthetic appeal.
- Support servers by bussing tables, refilling stations, and managing food runners during busy service times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo station, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests, dietary restrictions, or timing adjustments.
- Monitor food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination.
- Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by providing friendly service support and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, plating, and presentation standards.
- Experience working in kitchens with an understanding of culinary practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests.
