Job Summary

Duties
- Perform bridal makeup applications, including foundation, contouring, eye makeup, lip color, and special effects as needed.
- Design and execute intricate hair styling for brides, including updos, braids, curls, and other elegant styles tailored to individual preferences.
- Apply eyelash extensions, prosthetic makeup effects, or character makeup for themed or creative bridal looks.
- Ensure all sanitation standards are maintained throughout the application process to guarantee client safety and hygiene.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision, provide professional recommendations, and communicate effectively about desired outcomes.
- Manage time efficiently to accommodate multiple appointments while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- Upsell additional beauty services such as body waxing, hair threading, or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
- Capture high-quality photographs of finished looks for portfolio building and promotional purposes.
Qualifications
- Requires a Cosmetology or Esthetics license
- Proven experience in bridal makeup application techniques with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles.
- Skilled in special event hair styling techniques suitable for weddings and formal occasions.
- Knowledge of color theory, color coordination, and makeup application to achieve harmonious looks.
- Familiarity with cosmetology practices including sanitation procedures, body waxing, hair threading, dermabrasion, and prosthetic makeup effects.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs clearly and provide professional guidance confidently.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly and ensure a positive client experience.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy wedding seasons while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working in the beauty industry with knowledge of photography for capturing styled looks is preferred.
- Sales skills for retail product upselling and service package promotion are a plus.

Pay: From $200.00 per day
