American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Float position on night shift, requiring a WV or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Medical Surgical Float role within a short-term acute care, major teaching hospital that is a Level II Trauma Center
-
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:00

Uses Cerner charting system
-
330 staffed bed facility
-
Active RN license (WV or Compact) currently in hand

Minimum 2 years of experience required

Cerner charting experience preferred

Black scrubs required, or a Cabell T-shirt may be worn in place of a scrub top

If floated to Surgery, must change into facility-provided surgery scrubs

Free parking available for travelers in both lot and garage

Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted

Travel pairs are not accepted for this position

Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing

Orientation includes required modules averaging 4-6 hours, with additional modules completed annually
