We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Busser to join our team at Chubby Cattle Wagyu Shabu House - Novi. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, works efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Assist servers by clearing tables quickly and efficiently between courses and after guests leave
- Reset tables with clean linens, utensils, glasses, and other items
- Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, utensils, and cleaning materials
- Help servers deliver food and beverages as needed
- Keep dining areas, service stations, and restrooms clean and stocked
- Support the overall flow of the restaurant by communicating with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and teamwork-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
