Responsibilities
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), to promote positive behaviors and skill development.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and dressing, ensuring comfort and independence.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress, behavior management strategies, and treatment plans to inform ongoing care.
- Support teaching strategies tailored to each individual’s needs, fostering communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update personalized care plans that align with each client’s goals.
- Provide patient care with patience and empathy while ensuring a safe environment for clients during therapy sessions and daily activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy methods, including applied behavior analysis (ABA), is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices and teaching techniques tailored for individuals with autism.
- Ability to assist with ADLs while maintaining a respectful and supportive approach.
- Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and understanding medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA standards when handling medical records and sensitive information.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
