We are seeking a Lead CDL Driver based out of Cleveland, OH. This is a leadership role where you will be trained on all routes in this region. Travel within the region is required but no long-haul trips. You will be responsible for covering routes and training new drivers.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive different types of trucks such as tanker, tractor-trailer, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck
- Learn regional routes and fill in when needed
- Train new drivers
- Perform ride-a-longs with drivers
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver - Local experience preferred
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class A
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
