Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. 150k+ potential. Take home truck! Paid time off with flexible work schedule. You have the option to work 4 10hour days and enjoy a 3 day weekend every week! We are a small company with an overflow of work and need one awesome candidate to take over that flow. A players only!
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC/R systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, building automation systems, electrical systems, and plumbing components.
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment following manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure efficient operation.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate precise repairs and installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan through proactive maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly and offering solutions that meet client needs.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction environments combined with service technician expertise in HVAC/R systems.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, electrical diagrams, and building automation system controls.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, mechanical systems repair, and equipment troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in plumbing work related to HVAC systems as well as electrical diagnostics involving electrical systems and components.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, repair, and system upgrades.
- Familiarity with refrigerants, refrigeration cycles, boiler operation, air conditioning units, and related mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively including wrenches, screwdrivers, multimeters (ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment.
- Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants along with a valid driver’s license for on-site travel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
