Lexington Family Smiles is looking for a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in Lexington, SC. As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our dentist to provide high-quality dental care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, make temp crowns/bridges
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
Requirements:
- Experience in using dental software (Open Dental preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Dental Assistant program
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- South Carolina x-ray certified
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior dental office experience preferred, but not required
Schedule:
-Monday-Thursday 7:45-5
-Friday 7:45-1
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
