Bilingual Automotive Sales & Operations Associate

Truespoke® Wire Wheels is looking for a reliable, bilingual, automotive-minded team member to join our small and established company in Fallbrook, California.
Founded in 1974, Truespoke® has served the lowrider, classic car, hot rod, restoration, Cadillac, and collector car communities for more than 50 years. We manufacture and sell specialty wire wheels and related automotive products to customers throughout the United States and around the world.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys cars, customers, sales, parts, shipping, and being part of a small team. The ideal candidate may have experience working at an automotive parts store, wheel and tire shop, restoration shop, performance shop, or similar automotive business.
Responsibilities
The person in this position will help with many areas of the business, including:
Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers
Helping customers in person at our Fallbrook location
Handling sales inquiries and entering orders
Using a computer to look up products, prepare orders, and assist customers
Pulling parts and products for customer orders
Helping with packing, shipping, and receiving
Assisting with quality control and product inspection
Helping with light assembly of products we sell
Making local pickups and deliveries using the company van
Assisting at occasional car shows or company events
Working under the direction of the owners and other team members
Helping keep the shop, showroom, work areas, and premises clean and organized, including shared cleaning duties
Requirements
Spanish speaking is required. Many of our customers are Spanish-speaking, and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in Spanish is very important.
Qualified applicants should have:
Automotive parts, wheel/tire, restoration, classic car, or similar industry experience
Good phone and customer service skills
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
Ability to speak Spanish with customers
Basic computer skills
Ability to complete sales and customer service tasks accurately
Ability to lift, move, pack, and handle automotive products safely
Valid California driver’s license
Clean driving record and ability to drive a company van
Reliable transportation to work
Strong references
A dependable, honest, team-oriented attitude
Willingness to help wherever needed in a small business environment
Helpful Experience
Experience at a business such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, AutoZone, NAPA, a wheel and tire shop, restoration shop, classic car shop, dealership parts department, or similar automotive business would be very helpful.
Knowledge of classic cars, lowriders, Cadillacs, wheels, tires, lug nuts, bolt patterns, or automotive fitment is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
