Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and schematics. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures, ductwork, piping systems, and custom metal assemblies. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of metal components.
- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques to join various metals with precision and quality.
- Repair and align heavy machinery using welding/brazing tools
- Read and follow technical manuals and blueprints
- Disassemble, transport, and reassemble machinery
- Fabricate/weld based on technical drawings
- Collaborate with other departments, engineers, and contractors
- Maintain high safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and welding techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings with confidence.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutters, and machining equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a construction or manufacturing environment.
