Service Technician / Low-Voltage Technician – Healthcare & Hospital Equipment

CCI Health Technologies is expanding and seeking a skilled Low-Voltage Technician / Service Technician with experience in access control systems, low-voltage wiring, security electronics, or electrical troubleshooting. We support hospitals and healthcare facilities, ensuring critical medical equipment, communication systems, and low-voltage operate safely and reliably.
If you have experience with cabling, terminations, system configuration, and field diagnostics, this role offers strong growth potential and hands-on technical training.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, configure, and troubleshoot healthcare and hospital equipment
- Work with a wide range of low-voltage systems, including:
- Access control systems (badge readers, maglocks, strikes, door controllers, power supplies, relays)
- Security systems (CCTV/integrated security platforms a plus)
- Nurse call systems & patient monitoring devices
- Communication, alert, and emergency response systems
- Perform cable pulls, terminations, testing, labeling, and equipment mounting
- Diagnose issues with 12V/24V circuits, troubleshooting panels, sensors, and controllers
- Program or assist in configuration of access control hardware and software (Mercury, HID, Brivo, S2, Lenel, Avigilon, Openpath—experience in any platform is a plus)
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, riser diagrams, blueprints, and system layouts
- Complete service tickets, documentation, and maintenance logs
- Work safely and professionally within hospital environments, clinics, and healthcare facilities
Qualifications
- Experience as a Low-Voltage Technician, Field Service Technician, Access Control Technician, Electrical Helper, or Security Installer preferred
- Ability to read and understand schematics, electrical drawings, terminal diagrams, and technical manuals
- Experience with:
- Cabling (CAT5/6), coax, fiber (optional)
- Panel wiring, power supplies, relays, door hardware (REX, door contacts, magnetic locks, electric strikes)
- Conduit work (EMT), cable management, and installation best practices
- Strong troubleshooting skills with 12V/24V low-voltage circuits
- Experience with system configuration, commissioning, or device programming is a major plus
- Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn advanced medical equipment + proprietary systems
