Deck House Tavern in Windham is seeking a LEAD LINE COOK to join a great team. This position requires someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can provide excellent food quality and follow proper sanitation and cleaning standards. This person must be dependable. The lead line cook is a team leader. He/she has good line organization skills and must be able to supervise the BOH team. The Lead Line Cook works closely with the Kitchen Manager and Restaurant Manager to ensure guests have an exceptional experience.
Must have solid experience in:
- food prep
- portioning
- sanitation
- plate presentation
- food procurement / inventory & ordering
- ticket calling / expo experience
Pay is dependent upon work experience and knowledge. This is a full time (45) hours / week position. Reliable transportation is a must. Must have at least three years of kitchen restaurant experience and at least one year as a line supervisor or manager.
