We are a progressive stamping manufacturer seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assembly Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role will perform assembly of components using manual and machine-assisted processes while ensuring consistent quality and production efficiency. This is a part-time position with flexibility to work out a consistent schedule that fits your availability and our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and machine-assisted assembly of components using manual and machine-assisted processes
- Inspect finished and in-process parts for quality and consistency
- Follow work instructions and established quality and safety procedures
- Complete daily production and quality records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Use measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, or other measuring equipment is a plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Basic math skills, including decimals, fractions, and English/metric measurements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable sitting for extended periods and standing or moving as needed throughout the workday
- Comfortable with physical work, including regularly lifting up to 20 lbs., occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs., and bending, stooping, kneeling, and other physical tasks as needed
