Position Overview
MoveU247 and 1-800-Packouts of Southeast Tennessee are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Specialist to join our team in delivering exceptional relocation and contents handling services for residential and commercial clients. The Driver will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely, transporting customer belongings and equipment, assisting with load/unload activities, and providing professional customer service.
This role supports both MoveU247 relocation jobs and 1-800-Packouts contents moves, ensuring goods are delivered on time and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, customer-oriented, and committed to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment (box trucks, cargo vans, trailers, forklift, cardinal mule) in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Transport customer belongings, equipment, and storage containers between locations as directed
- Assist loading and unloading of furniture, household goods, and customer contents when needed
- Secure loads properly and use moving/dollies/straps to prevent damage
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report/perform any maintenance needs or issues
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and documentation through company trained software
- Represent MoveU247 & 1-800-Packouts professionally in all customer interactions
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and trailers are clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Follow franchise and company procedures for safety, customer service, and loss prevention
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Prior driving or delivery experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work as required
- Excellent time management and route follow-through skills
- Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team
- Must pass background check and drug screening

Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay ($22-$25/hourly)
