We are seeking a reliable and experienced Residential Driver with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team in Waycross, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting residential goods and materials to various locations while providing excellent customer service.
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Transport residential goods, equipment, and materials to designated locations within the assigned route.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper maintenance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no recent violations.
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably in residential delivery or similar roles.
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles safely.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items as needed.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
This position involves driving in various weather conditions and requires physical activity such as loading and unloading cargo. The role is based in Waycross, GA, with routes primarily within the surrounding residential areas.
