Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Vermont Occupational Therapy Certificate
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy (K-12 preferred)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple age groups and buildings
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Flexibility and adaptability to serve varied needs throughout the district
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across four school sites
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Support students’ participation and performance in school routines and activities
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other service providers
- Offer recommendations and strategies to help students access curriculum and achieve goals
- Adapt interventions to meet a wide range of abilities and needs within the K-12 population
