Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Foreign Language Instructors to teach either Spanish or French on a weekly basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire learners of all ages by fostering language skills, cultural understanding, and confidence.
As a vital part of our educational team, we already have the curriculum for you to build off of! You will manage classroom activities, and support students in their language learning journey.
This position is perfect for passionate educators looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible schedule. This class is offered one day per week at our campus, during the second half of the day.
Responsibilities
- Deliver dynamic and interactive language lessons tailored to diverse student needs and proficiency levels
- Develop engaging curriculum materials that promote active participation and cultural awareness
- Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere for learners of all ages
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding progress, expectations, and upcoming activities
- Create a welcoming environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and enjoyment in language learning
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring in Spanish or French, with classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students of various ages and backgrounds
- Familiarity with adult education principles and child-friendly instructional techniques
- Ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and levels
- Experience working with students in classroom settings or one-on-one tutoring environments
- Passion for language education and cultural exchange with a positive, energetic attitude
- Prior experience in childcare or working with children is a plus but not required
