Job Summary
The Medication Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications to residents in an assisted living facility. This role uses EMAR medication management system to assist with medication dispensing, tracking, and record-keeping. The Medication Manager also provides direct care to residents, monitors their well-being, and collaborates with the nursing staff to ensure exceptional care.
Required qualifications
- Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) or Medication Manager certification in good standing with the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
- At least one year of experience preferred.
- Experience with Point Click Care or a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Every other weekend and holiday availability.

- Resident care: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, ambulating, and bathing.
- Personal qualities: Compassion, reliability, and empathy are crucial for working with residents.
