We are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties. Your energetic approach and mechanical expertise will ensure that building interiors, systems, and equipment are kept in optimal condition, supporting a safe and functional environment for tenants, clients, and staff. Responsibilities
- Utilize hand tools and electrical equipment to complete maintenance tasks accurately and safely.
- Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, troubleshoot plumbing system issues, and perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems.
- Perform HVAC system repairs, including troubleshooting thermostats, filters, ductwork, and mechanical components to maintain climate control.
- Carry out carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, repairing doors, or patching walls through maintenance painting.
- Maintain facilities equipment by performing routine upkeep, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing tenant or client repair requests promptly and professionally.
- Use ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.

Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), with knowledge of building interior maintenance and facilities upkeep.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring and plumbing layouts.
- Ability to perform plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- Basic carpentry skills including drywall repair, painting (residential painting), and fixture installation.
- Electrical experience related to electrical work, electrical equipment repair, and facilities equipment maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interactions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk extensively throughout the workday, lift heavy objects safely, and work in various environmental conditions.
