Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Armed Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, excellent judgment skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. Duties
- Must have am Armed or Unarmed DC SPO License
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas using surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Conduct regular security checks to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action and documentation.
- Enforce security protocols and access controls for personnel and visitors.
- Assist in conflict management and de-escalation during tense situations.
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
- Conduct loss prevention activities to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
- Unarmed or Armed SPO license
- Proven experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred.
- Valid security guard license and any necessary firearms permits or certifications.
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV operation and monitoring.
- Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly when needed.
