Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Teachers Aide to join our educational team. In this role, you will support classroom instruction and assist lead teachers in creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning and development for children of various ages. Your dedication will help ensure that every child receives quality care and education tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers with lesson planning and implementing educational activities aligned with curriculum standards.
- Support literacy and math education efforts through engaging instructional techniques.
- Help manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management strategies.
- Work closely with children to support their social, emotional, and developmental needs, including those with autism or disabilities.
- Supervise children during activities, meals, outdoor play, and rest periods to ensure safety at all times.
- Maintain clear communication with parents and staff regarding children's progress and behavior.
- Support early childhood education principles such as Montessori or preschool methodologies to enhance learning experiences.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management techniques, and special education strategies is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities will be considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and children.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning processes for early childhood education.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
