Attorney
A boutique law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team in Springfield, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of commercial real estate and transactional matters.
Position Overview
The Associate Attorney will focus primarily on commercial real estate transactions, representing clients through acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, development projects, and related business matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
Responsibilities

Handle commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and related contracts

Conduct due diligence reviews and title analysis

Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties involved in transactions

Provide practical legal advice to commercial clients

Support the firm's broader business and real estate practice as needed
Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school
-
Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain admission promptly)

Experience with commercial real estate and transactional matters

Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
