Job Summary
The Field Application Specialist will support the RUPES USA sales team by providing system-based applications demonstrations and training support. This position will partner with the sales organization by engaging with current and prospective customers to drive sales.
The Field Application Specialist will be responsible for supporting the National Sales Manager and Technical Team by:
· Training of existing and new distributors of RUPES products
· Answering technical questions and provide insight on how to use the RUPES products
· Arranging and implementing field support for existing and new distributors of RUPES products
· Introducing new products to existing and new distributors of RUPES
· Supporting all Area Sales Managers in other areas of the US
· Present technical solutions which meet or exceed client needs
· Reporting industry trends and opportunities
The position of Field Application Specialist requires extensive interaction with the Area Sales Manager(s) to demonstrate and promote the RUPES product lines. In this capacity, this position will require overnight travel to distributors and end users throughout the United States. The frequency of overnight travel will be determined during strategy sessions with the National Sales Manager and Global Director of Technical Services.
The successful candidate will:
· Possess a High School degree or equivalent
· Have a minimum of 3 years of Technical Sales experience with a strong verifiable track record of success
· Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
· Possess strong time management and organization skills
· Be self-driven, accountable, of high integrity, communicative, dedicated, detail oriented, organized, analytical, and possess strong problem-solving skills
· Operate within designated travel budget
· Be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
· Have a strong background in surface preparation and rectification as typically exist in detail, body shop and industrial applications
· Possess the ability to interact and teach at all levels of the business world, from shop technicians to management level
· Possess reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed at current IRS rates)
· Have a valid drivers license
· Travel up to 75% of the time
· Be located with in close proximity of a major airport
· Be team-oriented in all actions
The ideal candidate will:
· Be bilingual in English and Spanish
· Have industrial application experience
· Possess a 2 or 4 year degree in technical and/or business related studies
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
