Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team, including technicians and service advisors, to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to manufacturer standards.
- Manage daily shop operations including scheduling, workflow coordination, and quality control to maximize productivity.
- Develop and implement upselling strategies to promote additional services such as oil changes, alignments, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, auto body repairs, air brake systems, and other automotive diagnostics.
- Ensure all service writing and auto estimating are accurate and thorough; review repair orders for completeness.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations within the shop environment.
- Handle customer inquiries professionally; resolve issues promptly to foster trust and loyalty.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
- Stay current with automotive industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques to continually improve service quality.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto service management with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Demonstrated success in upselling services while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Experience in managing service technicians across various specialties including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire services, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake systems, air brakes, etc.
- Skilled in auto estimating software and service writing; able to accurately assess repair needs and communicate effectively with customers.
- Strong sales background with the ability to promote vehicle repairs and automobile sales confidently.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
