Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager to lead our retail team and drive store success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage sales and customer service, coordinate inventory control, and develop a high-performing team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
- Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract customers and increase store traffic.
- Maintain operational standards by supervising opening/closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies.
- Utilize management skills such as negotiation, budgeting, and sales management to meet or exceed sales goals while controlling costs.
Experience
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and store operations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, basic accounting, cash handling, and POS systems.
- Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, purchasing, and stock control.
- Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and supervisory responsibilities.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
- Prior experience in grocery stores or wireless sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational abilities for managing multiple priorities efficiently.
