Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team.
We are a small shop of talented machinists/fabricators that basically make "weird" stuff; mostly mold and prototype work. We do very little (if any) production so every day is different, fun and challenging.
As a Machinist you will be an all around teammate that can help/support us in manual machining, CNC machining, repair work on molds, and patterns, assembling molds, problem solving mold issues and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining processes and a passion for precision work. The ideal candidate will also have a "can do" attitude, have a sense of urgency, good problem solving skills, and be a team player. Basically a well rounded person that knows a little bit of everything. It will be beneficial to have some mechanical knowledge/experience and passions in fabricating and assembling. If your hobbies include tinkering/working/wrenching on cars/motorcycles/engines/bicycles and/ or anything mechanical in your spare time, please apply today! We will train the right person.
Hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday (with some overtime on an as needed basis).
