Our Client in Exton is seeking a The Press Operator! This position operates assigned Flexographic printing equipment to create a label product that meets the customer’s specifications.
This is a 2nd shift position from 2 pm-1 am
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Operate press and run print jobs.
- Set up press to run print job.
- Read, understand and follow production work orders.
- Utilize daily dispatch prioritizing production order due dates.
- Produce label product which meets the quality standards.
- Produce label products while maintaining efficient operation of equipment.
- Maintain equipment and identify raw materials and tooling.
- Accurately report production numbers daily.
- Conduct quality checks of finished product.
- Troubleshoot production errors using the root cause analysis process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; sweeping floors and emptying trash as needed.
- Check equipment for calibration and alert supervisors and management if equipment is out of calibration.
REQUIRMENTS:
- Machining or related work experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand on feet for shift.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to learn and train.
