Overview
We are seeking a dedicated (STARTING) Dental Assistant (NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED) to join our dynamic dental practice.The ideal candidate needs to have a very positive and upbeat attitude, to play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication skills, and is committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups using dental software systems such as Dentrix but not required.
- Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to younger patients.
- Assist with endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and infection control standards.

- Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
