Position Summary
Ace Metal is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Metal Spool Assembler to join our production team. This role involves assembling metal spools and related components to specification, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble metal spools and related components according to work instructions and drawings
- Perform spot welding operations (preferred experience) to secure components
- Use hand tools, jigs, and basic fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with other shop or production tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required:
- Previous experience in metal works assembly (must-have)
- Ability to read basic drawings or follow assembly instructions
- Familiarity with hand tools and manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Preferred:
- Experience with spot welding
- Working knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus (helpful for some team communication)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
- Repetitive use of hands and tools
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/shop environment
Compensation
- Hourly wage based on experience
