Melissa & a Mop is a growing cleaning company serving homes and commercial buildings across the Chicago suburbs. We're looking for reliable cleaning partners for both daytime residential and evening commercial work.
Two Tracks — You Choose:
Daytime Residential (Mon-Fri)
- Clean private homes in premium neighborhoods
- Most partners finish by 2-3 PM
- Earn tips from happy clients
- Consistent recurring schedules
Evening Commercial (Flexible)
- Clean office buildings, medical offices, retail spaces
- Set your own evening schedule
- No client interaction — just you and the building
- Great supplemental income
Pay:
- Start at $23/hr (calculated per job)
- $25/hr after 90 days with no complaints
- $28+/hr for preferred partners (with tips on residential)
- Paid weekly
What You Need:
- 1+ year cleaning experience
- Reliable vehicle (required for all jobs)
- Your own cleaning supplies and equipment
- Smartphone for scheduling and communication
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. We provide full onboarding, training on our standards, and a steady pipeline of jobs. You run your own schedule within your chosen track.
