Sign On Bonus - This position is eligible to receive a $1,000 sign on bonus (paid in installments) after you have worked 52 weeks!
Our 2nd Shift offers a 10% shift premium for employees.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A. Pack components produced from the press.
B. Sort, Fill, Package, & Palletize product to packaging specifications.
C. Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties.
D. Load coils as required from cradle to reel.
E. Feed strip of material up to the feeder to be readied for production.
F. During a press changeover, move all equipment back to storage locations.
G. 5-S as a PRIORITY - Keep station clean and orderly.
H. Keep incoming empty containers in proper locations.
I. Report all Quality, Production or Safety problems to the Team Lead.
J. Ensure finished product is labeled and staged for Material Handler pick-up.
K. Write & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area.
L. Understand and follow all safety rules.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- High school diploma or GED - minimum
- Basic computer skills and demonstrated basic math skills
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions in English
Experience:
- 2 Years manufacturing
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills
- Prefer previous experience in an assembly / manufacturing environment.
Personal / Technical Skills:
- Ability to work with a dynamic and demanding team
- Accurate, efficient, & proactive in daily duties
- Ability to conduct basic maintenance or mechanical activities as required
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Accountable - teachable - approachable
- Ability to learn, make decisions, and be creative & flexible
- Ability to problem solve
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds
- Ability to stand up for a minimum of 8 hours
