Experienced Engineer Specialists!
Prolink is seeking a hands-on Stamping Engineer and a Robotic Weld Engineer to support operations, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement for a automotive lean manufacturing environment in Madison, AL. Schedule & Environment:
- 1st shift, flex schedule.
- Fast-paced production environment with regular overtime, occasional weekends, and a rotating on-call schedule for off-shift support.
Pay: $70–80k, Salary, OT Eligible
STAMPING ENGINEER - Must-Have Experience:
- 3–5+ years engineering experience in Automotive and Lean manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Large stamping presses (ex: 3,000-ton transfer presses and 1,000-ton blanking presses)
- Strong PLC troubleshooting experience; Allen Bradly and Mitsubishi PLC preferred.
- Must understand and troubleshoot ladder logic.
- Experience leading process improvement, capital, and cost-reduction projects.
- Self-directed and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Willing to train and mentor other members of the team.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of background check, drug screen, and physical.
STAMPING ENGINEER - Technical Background
- Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems knowledge.
- Ability to read schematics and support motor controls.
- CAD experience preferred; fabrication/welding is a plus.
ROBOTIC WELD ENGINEER - Must-Have Experience:
- 3–5+ years engineering experience in Automotive and Lean manufacturing.
- Hands-on robotic programming experience (Fanuc or Yaskawa preferred).
- Must be able to adjust and reteach robots using a teach pendant.
- Experience with robotic welding processes including resistance, arc, or MIG welding.
- PLC troubleshooting experience.
- Experience leading or supporting cost-reduction projects.
- Self-directed and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Willing to train and mentor other members of the team.
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of background check, drug screen, and physical.
ROBOTIC WELD ENGINEER - Technical Background
- Experience with robotic weld cells, jigs, fixtures, and vision systems.
- ABB robot experience is a plus (manual robots).
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and automation systems.
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot automated equipment.
