Emergency Medical Support Personnel - Full-time and Part-time Positions
Hourly Position - $18.04/HR
Must be flexible to work days, swings, or graves shift and available for weekends and holidays as needed.
PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Security Manager, the EMSP is responsible for providing emergency medical treatment to guests and Team Members. This position is also responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment by completing the functions of Security Ambassador, which includes money escorts, routine patrols and assisting guests and Team Members as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide highest level of customer service available by demonstrating “EDGE”.

Serve as First Responder to all medical emergencies for guest and Team Member injuries and illnesses.

Respond to all medical situations and follow property medical protocols.
- Provide emergency medical first aid and determine necessity for treatment off-site and prepares patients for transport.

Ensure medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.

Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Must possess, maintain, and remain in good standing as a EMT-B or above with the Texas Department of Human Services or have a LVN/RN license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Nursing.

Must possess and maintain a current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.

Must possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license.
Skills and Abilities:

Ability to display professionalism.

Must be able to perform triage and provide treatment to patients within scope of established protocols.

Must be able to compose a clear, concise, and accurate report on patient conditions in accordance to HIPPA requirements.

Must be able to identify and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.

Provide exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests.

Must be able to perform any and all duties of a Security Ambassador.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and protocols.

Ability to carry out instructions furnished in a written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to lift and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience:

Licensed Medical Provider.
-
Two years of related experience as a Medical Provider.
-
Previous experience as Security or Medical Provider at a gaming facility.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License.

Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.
