Duties
- Managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Supervise and train staff on food handling, customer service, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and kitchen procedures to ensure high standards.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports.
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules, supervising team members, and ensuring smooth service flow during busy hours.
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in compliance with health codes.
- Budgeting, cost control initiatives, and implementing promotional activities to boost sales.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or manager roles within fine dining establishments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems experience with cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development in hospitality or food service environments.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and food industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service is a plus; culinary experience or catering background is advantageous.
