Position Overview
AXIS FREIGHT GROUP LLC is looking to URGENTLY hiring drivers for last-mile delivery courier services. In this role, you will use your own vehicle to safely deliver packages to apartments, homes, and businesses. This position is similar to Amazon-style final-mile delivery and requires strong driving skills, safe package handling, and the ability to load and unload deliveries efficiently.

Core Responsibilities
- Pick up and secure packages from warehouses
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS and real-time traffic data to improve efficiency.
- Deliver packages to customers’ doors, obtain delivery confirmations via POD’s, and update tracking systems via handheld devices or apps.
- Communication around delivery status, delays, or returns.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any incidents to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety and handling regulations to protect both the driver and the recipient
- Organize, load and deliver packages in a safe and efficient manner.
- Use equipment and tools provided daily to accurately and safely deliver packages.
- Possess the physical and mental stamina and ability to move throughout the day quickly and safely. This position involves constant: Sitting, Standing and Walking.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
- Maintain an accurate record of deliveries and any issues that may arise.
- Handle all products with care to avoid damage and ensure safe transport.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
· Minimum age: 18–21 years (state-dependent)
· Valid driver’s license and current insurance
· Must have and be able to use a smartphone.
· All drivers will utilize their own vehicle for delivery.
· Ability to learn and utilize app to accurately deliver packages.
· Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Prior experience in logistics, courier services, or delivery roles is a plus

Compensation & Availability
· Earn $800.00-$1,500.00 per week
· Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekend Shift positions available
· Weekly pay
Our work week runs from Saturday – Friday. Payment is typically issued about two weeks after the work period ends so we have time to confirm completed routes, calculate package counts, and apply any applicable deductions before payment is sent. After your first two weeks payment, ongoing payments will be issued weekly.
