You'll be instrumental in ensuring that landscapes are healthy, safe, and visually appealing while adhering to safety protocols. Whether you're trimming trees, operating power tools, or installing landscape, your efforts will directly contribute to the transformation of outdoor environments into inviting and functional spaces.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and well-kept
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct hardscape projects like installing pathways, retaining walls, or other outdoor features with precision
- Maintain safety standards by following all safety protocols during equipment operation and outdoor work activities
- Support seasonal tasks such as Spring & Fall maintenance.
Requirements
- Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related fields is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment operation are essential for efficient task completion
- Ability to identify various plants and understand horticulture principles for proper landscape care
- Experience with tree trimming, gardening, and hardscape installation is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
