Join a well-established, community-focused behavioral health organization dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families. As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll join the program's leadership team, helping shape innovative models of care while mentoring and developing a team of licensed clinicians. This is a wonderful opportunity for a LCSW/LMHC/LCAT ready to step into a leadership role with real influence over both clinical quality and team culture.
What You'll Do
- Identify gaps in clinical services and lead the development of solutions to close them
- Oversee implementation of evidence-based treatment models and innovative approaches to care
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision to program staff
- Ensure clients have timely access to care by managing admissions, discharges, and case assignments
- Monitor caseload sizes, show rates, and appointment availability to minimize client wait times
- Step in to provide direct services when needed, including intakes and crisis intervention
- Supervise crisis intervention services and program incident follow-up
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, chart reviews, and utilization management activities
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new clinical staff
- Complete timely performance appraisals and address performance concerns as needed
- Monitor staff attendance and vacation scheduling to ensure consistent program coverage
- Facilitate team meetings, case conferences, and other program meetings
- Ensure program compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and funding requirements
- Monitor billing and address fiscal/operational issues using electronic systems
- Identify opportunities to improve program operations and efficiency
- Serve as backup to other program leadership as needed
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in a human services field
- Active New York State LCSW/LMHC/LCAT licensure required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience, ideally with adults with mental illness
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Comfortable working within a multi-disciplinary team
- Proficient with electronic health records and Microsoft Office
- Comfortable using video platforms (e.g., Zoom)
